NSW Rural Fire Service Far South Coast manager John Cullen said the 20 x 30 metre fire along Botany Street was quickly brought under control by NSW Fire and Rescue and Eden Rural Fire Service.
It is believed the fire was deliberately lit Thursday mid afternoon.
Police also attended the incident.
