Speaking of which, High Time Tree Services is the first business to be nominated in 2014.
Owner Brendan Aucote was thrilled when told they are in the mix for ‘best trades or professional services: business or individual’.
“That’s awesome; I wasn’t expecting that at all,” he said.
“Our approach is all about being reliable and doing a good job, but still being affordable.
“We just try to be well-mannered and make sure the customer is always happy.
“I’ll have to buy whoever nominated us a beer!”
The last time the Business Awards were held in Eden, High Time Tree Services didn’t exist.
Brendan said he is glad to hear that his young business has been well-received.
“The business has only been running for about a year,” he said.
“I actually did my apprenticeship in welding at Broadwater, but then I decided to move to Jindabyne to do my apprenticeship as an arborist, and then come back down here to start up.
“It’s good fun – I love heights, so being able to work up high is great.”
Brendan and his team, which includes Dylan Gaudie and Marty Walsh, are available for jobs between Narooma and Mallacoota, and can be contacted on 0432 113 036.
