Maree Smith has described her nomination for ‘best customer service by an individual’ as “a shock and an honour”.

The Rob Webb Surveying property consultant and assistant valuer is said, given the limited interaction surveyors have with the public, the nomination is even more special to her.

“It’s probably one of the highest honours you can get in a small community,” she said.

“In the business we’re in, it’s only a very small part of the general public that we’re dealing with from day-to-day.

“So it came as a bit of a shock, but I’m honoured to be recognised in that way by a client.”

Nominations for all six categories close on Monday, November 17 at 5pm, ahead of the black tie gala presentation night at Jigamy Farm on Saturday, December 6.
