AN INVESTIGATION into a leaked document will be carried out by Bega Valley Shire Council after the matter was raised by mayor Cr Tony Allen at council’s meeting this week. The document was a letter from the office of the Minister for Health Carmel Tebbutt to general manager Peter Tegart with answers to questions he sought on behalf of council about health issues in the Bega Valley, including the proposed Bega Hospital development.

Council’s group manager of Community and Relationships Leanne Barnes said the mobile library service in its current form, operating from a large van, would cease in October.
