The ‘best customer service by an individual’ category has been the most popular of the bunch so far, with nominations continuing to roll in.

One of the latest to be added to the mix is Twofold Travel’s Regina Swane, who has been part of the team for almost three years, and says customer service is crucial when helping travellers plan their overseas adventures.

“The biggest thing is just to approach them in a friendly and helpful manner, and to make them feel comfortable,” Regina said.

“A lot of people have never dealt with a travel agent before, and travelling overseas is a big decision.

“It’s all about making sure you’re able to give them all the information they need.”

Nominations for all six categories close on Monday, November 17 at 5pm, ahead of the black tie gala presentation night at Jigamy Farm on Saturday, December 6.
