An independent long range weather forecaster has predicted there will be substantially more rain for the Far South Coast than has been forecast by the Bureau of Meteorology for this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
"Although not technically classed as an east coast low, what we are going to see will create a similar effect," Dennis Luke said.
"It's a composite of a number of variables joining up together, including two low pressure systems; coming from Central Australia, Victoria; and off the coast of New South Wales and Queensland."
Mr Luke advised we should be wary of what is coming - we could easily get as much as 80mm over the course of the three days, with the heaviest falls predicted between midday on Friday and the same time on Saturday, he said.
