Eden Smokehouse has received yet another award from the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show, after its smoked chicken scooped silver in the Smoked Poultry Product category.

Eden Smokehouse owner Stan Soroka said the Show conducts competitions year-round, across a range of categories.

“It’s the most prestigious fine food show in Australia, and we enter it to check out our performance against the country,” Mr Soroka said on Monday.

The chicken accolade comes on top of winning golds, silvers and a bronze in aquaculture categories judged in February, when the Eden Smokehouse was lauded for its smoked salmon and walked away with Australia’s Champion Salmon prize.

Mr Soroka says he’s now hoping to “kick some goals” with his pastrami.
