Wintry weather is creeping into Australia's south-east early, with unseasonal bitter mornings felt as far as Brisbane.
And the cool southerly winds interrupting Easter celebrations will continue to blow. They're funnelling towards NSW and Victoria from a low pressure system near New Zealand.
A cold front is heading towards the nation's south-east as well, starting from Wednesday April 12.
The front is bringing another burst of cold and wet weather towards South Australia, Victoria, ACT and NSW.

Despite winter hurtling into view, it's not all bad news. A brief warm spell is expected in mid April - lasting for long enough to dry the washing.
But that's before another cold front moves across the continent, with Perth getting the first taste on Friday April 14.
The front will bring Perth's coldest days of the year so far.
A handful of towns in NSW and Queensland recorded their coldest mornings over the Easter long weekend, including 3.3 degrees in Dubbo, 6.4 degrees in Amberley and 12 degrees in Yamba.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) said international weather models are pointing to El Nino kicking off by August 2023. Australia could be in for a wild year of weather.
In 2016, the most recent major El Nino, global temperatures reached the highest on record. This summer could be a hot one.
