Leeton actor Jake Speer has a role in the hugely popular drama miniseries, which stars well-known American actor Adrian Grenier of Entourage fame.
Jake takes on the role of Cameron and he explained he was given quite the chance to take part in the TV series.
"I was originally called in by the casting director to read opposite actors (who were) auditioning for various parts," he said.
"I would spend a few days here and there reading a whole bunch of different scenes for various roles.
"Eventually the casting director, the extraordinary Jane Norris, was generous enough to call me in to audition for a role. Lucky for me, I got the part."
Clickbait tells the story of family man Nick Brewer (Grenier), who is abducted in a crime with a sinister online twist and those closest to him race to uncover who is behind it and why.

"If you do want to jump to the bits where you'll find me, skip forward to episode five," Jake said.
"However, it is a murder-mystery full of twists and turns, so the best way to enjoy it is from the start.
"I think what I appreciate the most about Cameron is that he is a voice for good in the show, he is just and considerate without being overly righteous.
"He is the moral centre of the episode and speaks directly to the responsibility the media and journalists have to do the right thing. He won't stand for people being exploited for a big headline."
Filming the miniseries was another bow for Jake to add to his growing list of acting credentials and he said being able to learn in this particular environment was an experience to remember.
"It was the largest production I'd worked on so far, so there were a lot of new elements that made it very exciting," he said.
"However, the best opportunity you normally get to meet the most people is at, what is called, the table read.
"That's when the entire company gathers together to read the episode script in its entirety. The Americans are complete professionals. They seemed to really love Australia and it was wonderful to see them work.
"There really was a fantastic energy behind the production." Jake spent a large chunk early 2021 back in Leeton preparing the Henry V production, which he thanked the community for getting behind.
"As for projects I have a number in the pipeline in various stages," he said.
"It always seems like an odd kind of horse race to see which one will decide to gallop forward and become the next one.
"Quite a few auditions coming through now, some international projects, so we shall see. My sights are set on 2022 now."
Reflecting on the Henry V production, Jake it was an experience he won't soon forget.
"I'd like to take this opportunity to pass on my deepest thanks to the people of Leeton and the wider Riverina community for their enthusiasm and support for our production of Henry V at the Roxy earlier this year," he said.
"It was an extraordinary experience and one that had a profound effect on every member of that production.
"It's made all the more powerful now, I think, given where we find ourselves. It's incredible to see what is possible in regional towns and the talent and expertise that is at our finger tips.
"I'm very keen to see what creativity is unleashed when restrictions are lifted."
