THE Illawarra South Coast Dragons' Andrew Johns Cup side made it three wins on the trot to start the season on Saturday, as they downed the Monaro Colts 18-12.

At Sid Parrish Park, tries from Toby Rumble (15th and 43rd minute) and Jackson Rieck, as well as three goals from Clay Baldock, secured Aaron Hertsch's side, headlined by Group Seven Rugby League's Cooper Harrison, Caleb Hall, Bailey Marks, Seth Pearman (all Gerringong), Dextar Grant (Stingrays), Ashton O'Dea (Albion Park-Oak Flats) and Byron Pitt (Shellharbour), the six-point victory.
In the defeat, Xavier Cacciotti and Blake Hovi crossed for four-pointers - with the latter also adding two kicks.
Unfortunately, this was the only victory for the Dragons on Saturday, as Peter Hooper's Andrew Johns Cup side slumped to their third straight defeat in the NSWRL competition.
Despite an improved attacking effort, the Dragons went down 30-22 to the Colts.
In the loss, James McClelland (two), Flynn Allen, Jack Piccirilli and Jarvis Austin scored tries, with Ryan Hodgson adding one conversions.
While Keegan Kenny (two), Joseph Delle (two), Matthew Wheatley and Mitchell Evans crossed for the victors.
Evans also chipped in with three kicks in the win.
In the defeat, Illawarra South Coast's side contained Stingrays' Liam Arnold, Jarvis Austin, Jarvis Polley, Will Starling and Coleby Smith, Kiama's Ryan Hodgson and Milton-Ulladulla's Sam Stewart.
Next up in round four, both ISC Dragons sides will travel up to Tuncurry to face the North Coast Bulldogs.
The under 16s (Andrew Johns Cup) will kick-off the action at Harry Elliot Oval at 10am, before the under 16s (Laurie Daley Cup) plat at 11.20am.
