Jim Fitzgerald had a good round of 41 closely followed by Selwyn Yates from Bega with 40. Mark Davidson had the par threes under control winning 2 balls for nearest the pin and the golden shot. The highlight of the day would be an eagle by Mick Rooney on the 17.
In the ladies competition Janice Davidson was again the winner on 38 points. Bettie Brown earned second place with 35 and had a nearest to the pin. Balls went to 27 and Laura Walker had a good shot on the 18th to win the golden shot.
Officials want to amend a mistake in last week's report. Yvonne Perriman won the women's medal play off, but sponsored the day and such donated the prize to Robyn Skitt.
21 points was the winning score for both the 9 hole events. Clyde Cummings won on Wednesday and Mark Davidson picked up the bottle of wine.
Next weeks event will be a stableford for both men and women. The course is looking good so let's hope for some sun and nice weather.
