Horse trainer Theresa Bateup has doubled down on her Bega Cup success, winning the Pambula Cup on Saturday.

The Kembla Grange trainer was elated when apprentice Madison Waters raced Halliday Road to a win by three-quarters of a length from Concrete ridden by Ellen Hennessey.
Waters had Halliday Road well positioned into the final stretch trailing Concrete by about half a length on the outside before a mad sprint saw her take the lead in the last 100, also holding out from a late charge at the line by Aaron Sweeney on Heavenly Thunder.
Not to be outdone, Hennessey had earlier clinched victory on another Joe Cleary runner when she crossed first in race two riding the New Zealand runner Havaduel.
Top honours among the jockeys went to Brendan Ward who cleaned up back-to-back wins in race three and four.
Promoter Jess O'Donnell said the day was packed with a crowd of about 450 enjoying the meet.
"The Pambula Cup coincided with the Share the Love weekend in Pambula so we invited about 30 Pambula businesses out for the day and it was really busy," Ms O'Donnell said.

Heffernan Lending Solutions ran a tipping comp on the day with winners being Phil Jackson and Shane Shaw.
Critically, Ms O'Donnell said the prizes had been sourced in Pambula as part of the "bring an empty esky" campaign on social media.
HLS also put together gift hampers for a number of firies who were invited to the day.
Ms O'Donnell thanked the Pambula Chamber of Commerce and said it had been wonderful to collaborate for the day
The club is now hosting a charity raffle with six prizes up for grabs and 100 per cent of the proceeds going to those affected by the fires.
Tickets are $100 each and will be drawn on March 2 at the Merimbula Cup.
After recently covering $1000 to one worker's account at the Cobargo Co-op after losing their property and machinery, the club is now looking to do more.
"We aim to raise more funds to help others at a grass roots level in our area. So if you buy a ticket and don't win one of the great prizes, pat yourself on the back and consider yourself a winner anyway for helping out,"
