The management committee of the Eden Mountain Bike Club have been elected during a meeting held at the Eden Log Cabin on Tuesday, December 3.

More than 25 local residents including biking enthusiasts, local business people and interested community members attended the meeting .
The Management Committee elected includes Michael Hoynes as president and treasurer; Lawrence Prendergast as secretary and Hjalmar "Yully" Arnold as public officer.
The committee are set to complete the necessary paperwork required to obtain a licence to operate through Mountain Bike Australia.
The meeting also heard about the Eden Trails vision for transforming Eden into a world-class mountain biking destination and the role the club will play in supporting the work being done to bring that vision to life.
President, Michael Hoynes said the strong turn out indicated that people see a real benefit in having a club that will support and promote recreational mountain biking.
