The donation was made as part of the Commonwealth Banks nationwide community donation program.
The program involves branches all around Australia recognising organisations in their towns that make a difference to their community.
Commonwealth Bank's Eden team voted to support the great work of Eden Service and Social Club Inc.
Commonwealth Bank Eden Branch Manager Amy Sheils said, "With the festive season approaching, it's a timely opportunity for us to show our support for E.S.S.C.I.
"In particular the donation will be used for Eden's New Years Eve fireworks display, which is a highlight for many locals and tourists visiting the area," she said.
