The competition is a major feature of the annual festival which is set to take place on November 1- 3.
Shannon Woloshyn from the Whale Festival Committee said, "Each year the talent that is displayed at the Artists Who Wood competition amazes judges and the general public. We look forward to seeing what our talented woodworkers produce this year."
There are three competition categories- open, unplugged and the under 18/school/TAFE category.

"The 'unplugged' category allows for woodworkers using unpowered hand tools to show off their skills."
Forestry Corporation NSW are proud sponsors of the competition. Brendan Grimson from FCNSW said the competition was the perfect way to highlight the beauty of native hardwood that is an integral part of Eden.
"Forestry Corporation are proud to be associated with the festival it is a great way to celebrate Eden's rich history with the Forestry Industry," he said.
