Following the Whalers' recent announcement of coaches for the 2019 Sapphire Coast AFL season, they are calling on more interested players to register and attend pre-season training.
For the juniors, Liam Wilkinson is taking on the coaching role for the under 14s, while Tyler Crowe and Aidan Death have the responsibilities for the under 12s and under 10/Auskick players respectively.
Meanwhile, in the senior ranks, Scott Munday and Shane Crowe will lead the Whalers this year as co-coaches, and veteran Colac import Steve Martino takes on the women's squad looking to follow on from three straight premierships.
Registration for players can be done via the website play.afl and follow the links to the Eden Whalers Football Club.
Starting Tuesday, March 26, training nights will be Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm, with juniors training both nights at 5pm.
"We are hoping to build on our under 12s junior team from last year by also entering an under 10s and under 14's," club spokeswoman Nicole Crowe said.
"All our junior teams are mixed and any new and existing players are welcome."
