In the Bega electorate, there are six candidates vying for the top spot. You may number just one candidate, or multiple in whichever order you wish your preferences to be recorded.
Voters will also be asked to select their preference/s for the NSW Upper House - the larger ballot paper.
When completing your ballot paper, you must choose between voting 'above the line' or 'below the line'. You cannot vote both above and below.
Put a number 1 in one of the group voting squares 'above the line' for your vote to be counted. You may choose to number more than one, but if you vote above the line, do not put numbers in any squares below the line as this may invalidate your vote.
If choosing to vote 'below the line', you must number at least 15 candidates for your vote to be counted, but you can show more choices by putting more numbers if you wish.
Voting booths will be at Merimbula and Pambula Public Schools as well as the Sapphire Coast Bridge Club rooms at the Tura Beach shopping mall.
There are also booths at Wolumla Hall, Eden Marine High School, Wyndham PS, Towamba PS, Tathra, Tanja, Quaama School of Arts, Cobargo School of Arts, Bermagui Community Centre, Wallaga Lake Koori Village community hall, Candelo Town Hall, Brogo Hall, Bemboka Hall, Bega High School and Bega Valley Public School.
Booths will be open from 8am until 6pm
