The festival returns this April and the first announcement for its lineup has now been released, with more acts to come.
"The village festival is a community arts event aimed at engaging people in what happens in the village," festival director Sam Martin said.
"It's a celebration of the culture of the village and there's a whole weekend of activities planned."
The music this year includes acts of great renown, both local and from further abroad.

Yorta Yorta singer-songwriter from Echuca Benny Walker will be performing.
His love songs and epic tales are mixed with passion for the land, the people, summer vibes and deep grooves are the elements that reach the soul.
An accomplished solo performer, Walker is regularly joined on stage by his band, where he replaces his acoustic guitar with a Stratocaster and indulges his passion for the big blues-rock sound.
Kerryn Fields grew up surfing her parent’s vinyl collection, addicted to the radio and trying to make light of the dark with her irrepressible humour.
Her poignant and powerful songs, baritone brilliance and unassuming string-plucking virtuosity leave audiences transfixed, crying, hysterically laughing and dipping their fingers into all the layers of the universe.
Known as lead singer of The Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band, Mic Conway will be performing with Robbie Long.
They will present an hilarious array of idiosyncratic songs that will make your jaw drop, toes tap and sides split.
Other musicians include Mustered Courage, This Way North, The New Graces, Jackie Marshall and more.
In addition, there will be appearances of authors Ailsa Wild and Gabbie Stroud.
There will also be a special field day event and a village fair for families.
The festival is a community-run not-for-profit event that has been hosted by the Candelo Arts Society since 2008.
Due to the support from the community, the first festival had over 50 local, national, and international acts on a one-day bill.
The next Candelo Village Festival is on April 26-28 in Candelo.
Tickets are now on sale. Visit www.cas.org.au for details.
