A 35-year-old Sydney man will face court next week accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl at Tura Beach after allegedly grooming her online for sex.

Police allege the man sexually and indecently assaulted the girl, who police allege is known to him, in early September after allegedly grooming the girl via an online messaging application.
The man was arrested at a home in Western Sydney on November 9 and charged with sexual intercourse with a person aged between 14 and 16 and indecent assault of a person under 16.
Police allege the offences took place at a home in Tura Beach on September 1 and September 8 this year.
The man was refused bail in Penrith Local Court on November 9 and will face Bega Local Court on Tuesday, November 27.
