Crowley, who is a member of the Far South Coast Falcons rugby squad, jumped at the chance to play in the tournament that was organised by the ACT Brumbies.
It involved a round robine competition where the Falcons played in matches against teams from the Illawarra Goulburn and other regions of NSW>
Crowley played in the under 17s and helped the Falcons to strong results over four rounds, giving the team the chance to face off against Illawarra in the final.
She played most of the day in the centres at fly-half where she could take the game on and said it gave her “more control of the game”.
With her leadership in the middle, the Falcons overcame their northern opponents to seal an outright win on the day and Crowley said it was a great experience.
However, her fondest experience was “playing alongside a great bunch of girls”.
