The Young Endeavour came into the port; staff and clients from the Tulgeen South Coast Disability Support Group plus some staff from the Eden Whale Museum enjoyed a three hour sail around Twofold Bay.
The ship was open to the public on Saturday March 25 between 1300 and 1600.
Young people between the ages of 16 and 23 can apply to join the Young Endeavour crew to be part of the youth development voyages sailing through to December 2017. The voyages are a chance to sample working life on a tall ship.
In the bay tall ship Tenacious sat at anchor after taking a stop on her journey between Sydney and Melbourne. Eden has proved to be a popular stop for the crew with this the second stop this year.
Tenacious offers anyone the opportunity to sample the joys of life on the high sea on a tall ship. Specially designed to be fully accessible, Tenacious has been built to accept blind, deaf or wheelchair bound voyage crew and to enable people of any disability participate in the daily running of the ship.
