The event was this year’s major P&C fundraiser for the high school, and P&C Outdoor Movie Night Coordinator Lis Shelley was delighted with attendance.
“About 120 people attended the movie night,” Ms Shelley said on Monday.
“The perfect weather allowed the audience to enjoy a beautiful sunset and moon-rise over the Eden Marine High School oval.
“Rugs, bean bags, chairs and cushions dotted the grass as families enjoyed hot food and drinks from the various stallholders waiting for the movie 'Inside Out' to begin.
“The film lovers also saw two winning short films from this year's YoofTube Youth Film Festival.”
Ms Shelley said “the best seat in the house” was the Gold Class Upgrade won by Zeta Collins of Candelo.
“(The prize was) a specially reserved sofa and beanbags to sit on plus free food and drinks from the P&C stall,” Ms Shelley said.
Movie-goer Sharon Kennelly said she enjoyed the atmosphere.
"Everyone there was having such a chilled fun filled night, the kids all loved the movie and the yummy treats there too!” Ms Kennelly said on Friday.
“There was fun had by all. Hopefully many more will happen in the future."
Ms Shelley said the P&C would like to thank the teachers, parents, students and local businesses who made the night a success.
“Thanks to the many generous businesses who sponsored the event or provided raffle prizes; over $1000 worth of prizes were given away on the night, and the P&C was able to cover its costs and raised over $900 on the night,” Ms Shelley said.
