On Saturday at the Eden Gardens golf course 60 players contested a single stableford in gale force winds with several visitors in attendance.

The round of the day belonged to 32 marker Vic Walker, who carded an excellent store of 44 points to take out the division two prize.
John Doorty was the runner-up who amassed a seven-off-the-pace 37 points.
Meanwhile, division one was won by John Haenig, who realized a very steady round of 38 points.
Runner-up on a count-back was the ever-consistent Lindsay Caldwell, who also shot 38 points.
Ball rundown was recorded at 33 points.
Nearest the pin winners included the third to F Fethers, the eighth – and golden shot – to John Miller, 10th Ross Morris and 18th Steve Huff.
The club and members congratulated Phil Innes who scored an eagle on the par four second hole.
On Saturday members and visitors will contest a single stableford with long time supporter of Eden golf Mike Sheppard the generous sponsor.
In other golf news, the club’s prestigious Eden Open will be played over 36 holes on the weekend of November 14-15.
Generous supporters of the Eden club, J Michelin and Son along with Gippsland Tyre service will host the event.
The Saturday round will also see the November monthly medal contested, which will be sponsored by Jeffery and Betty Brown.
