One of the laughable traits is winning the raffle at the club, go to collect the prize with jeers from the older patrons "blow ins" they taunt. Yeah mate just blew in from my job at your school and the house that I bought in your town. Thanks for the welcoming box of fruit and the meat tray though.

I have been here over 20 years and find the town friendly and accepting, so the fact I am not called a local doesn't worry me. All it means is that I wasn't born here. Just join in whatever activities you wish to do and you'll feel at home in no time at all.
