The Animal Welfare League NSW Far South Coast Branch has several mixed breed pups waiting for new homes.
There's also Connie, a four-year-old Siberian husky; Sally, a three-year-old female kelpie/Labrador; Sheila, an eight-month-old female cattle cross kelpie; and, Whistle, a five-year-old tan and white female kelpie cross.
A number of cats and kittens are also looking for "forever" homes including Billy, a five-year-old domestic short haired (DSH) cat; Charlie and Darcy, the nine-month-old black domestic short hair cats; and, Rani, a year-old male DSH tabby.
If you would like to apply to adopt one of the lovely companion animals, phone the branch on 0400 372 609.
Or have you considered becoming a carer?
Caring is a great way to be able to enjoy the company of a pet if you are between your travels or while you are deciding what type of pet you would like to adopt - all that plus the buzz of being able to save an unwanted companion animal.
If you would like to have a chat about becoming a carer please give the branch a call.
Please note that potential dog owners will need to have secure dog proof fencing and suitability to the needs of the animal.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the third annual Georgie’s day and a huge thank you to all the staff at Georgies for your support.
Tickets in the trailer load of wood raffle will be on sale from 10am today (Thursday) outside Woolworths at Sapphire Market Place and will be drawn at 2pm.
