The under 18s match saw the five-town combine squad taking on the strong Moruya Sharks outfit.
Both teams gave up plenty of early penalties with a number of handling errors short of the line at either end.
However, Corey Spink found space to get the combo in front.
Moruya struck next through fullback A Murray and with a conversion in their favour, Moruya led 10-8 at the break.
After the break though it was level again when D Mattock struck for the combo.
H Murray then found the line for Moruya and scores were almost locked up.
Again the combo lifted and soon Peter Dadd found the line before Zac Slater also scored off a strong break down the right wing.
Moruya trailed by just four and made a kick attempt with 10 seconds to play, but it was caught by a combo player down the right wing.
The home side ran out winners 18-14.
In the league-tag clash, early exchanges were riddled with handling errors and penalties.
Both teams were denied opportunities short of the line, but soon the High Heelers got in front from a penalty opportunity, taking the kick.
Moments later Bega levelled with its own penalty kick ably slotted by Joccoaa Rogers.
But that is when Bega took control of the game. The Roosters were awarded another penalty, and then a third in front of the posts with successive kicks putting it 6-2 in front.
N Stewart found the line for the High Heelers and the game levelled again at 6-6.
However, in the second half the Chicks found some exceptional pace to get successive tries to Kezie Apps and Trudi Badullovich.
The Chicks were able to then hold their line to run out 14-6 winners.
The reserve grade was almost going to golden point, but the Roosters rallied in that game, too.
Bobby Taylor opened the scoring for the Candelo-Bemboka Panthers, but Bega's Steven Luff soon levelled the odds 4-4.
With just five minutes to play in the second half Scott Barton found the line to put the Roosters ahead 8-4.
Russell Northey also found the line for the Bega outfit in the dying stages to win 12-4.
The Eden Tigers and the Bega Roosters were evenly matched in the first grade contest.
Play fluctuated end-to-end and it was 23 minutes before the ball was planted over the tryline.
The points went to Blake Robinson in a long-dive with his arm stretched out far just to the right of the posts.
James Bower-Scott lined up against the wind and slotted the conversion for the home side to lead 6-0 at the break.
