Gracie will go into the event with a test day under her belt and is also being guided by last year’s Bathurst winner during her first season in the Dunlop Series.
Renee Gracie is a driver on the rise in Australian motor sport. The 20 year old raced karts as a junior and two seasons in the ultra-competitive Carrera Cup. Now in her first year of the Dunlop Series she will take to the track next week in Townsville with the aim of continuing her steady level of improvement.
In her corner is last year’s Bathurst winner Paul Morris, who is not just her mentor, but also a fellow competitor in the Dunlop V8 Series.
The Dunlop Series in Townsville on the weekend of July 11-12 will feature separate 21 lap races on the Saturday and Sunday.
