The school offered 27 courses for 85 students this year, with band 5s and 6s recorded in all but five of those courses.
All up, seven students received a combined total of 11 band 6s (marks above 90), with 66 band 5s (marks of 80-89) recorded by 26 students.
With the results now known, Australian Tertiary Admission Ranks (ATARs) will follow on Thursday.
School principal Ian Moorehead said many students can expect solid scores as they anxiously wait to learn whether they will receive the marks required to enter their chosen courses.
“We’ve recorded significantly higher results than the state average in Legal Studies, two-unit Mathematics, History Extension 1, PDHPE, Physics and Hospitality,” he said.
“PDHPE is traditionally a subject of excellence for us and for schools in this area, and this year four out of the seven students in that subject have received band 6s.
“In a further 12 courses, our students’ marks were consistent with the state average – it’s a strong performance and goes to show that we’ve got very good staff right across the board.”
Mr Moorehead said the cohort also deserves praise for its work outside the classroom in 2014.
As part of its fundraising activities, year 12 recently donated $1425 to both youth cancer charity, CanTeen, and the Snowy Hydro SouthCare rescue helicopter.
“They ran a whole range of events – cake drives, raffles and all sorts of other things,” he said.
“We’re talking about nearly $3000 being donated to charities by our year 12 students – that’s something I’m very proud to see and something that I think is very worthy of recognition.
“They’ve been a great – and very generous – cohort.”
Year 12 students will be able to access their ATARs on the Board of Studies website from 9am on Thursday.
