People can place gifts for children and adults under the Eden giving tree, which is once again standing proudly in Mission Australia’s Eden office.
They will then be distributed to families in need by St Vincent de Paul, in time for them to be unwrapped on Christmas Day.
Regi Moulds has been organising the charity drive for 11 years, but says every year provides another rewarding experience.
“The community is always fantastic about supporting it – every year, I’m amazed,” she said.
“A lot of kids wouldn’t have anything under their tree without the presents that are donated here.
“It means a lot to us and to the families who receive them.”
Ms Moulds said anyone who would like to donate should mark their present with the appropriate age and sex of the recipient.
If you are unable to wrap the presents yourself, Mission will wrap them for you.
The tree will be up until Monday, December 22, before the presents are collected and distributed.
