The biggest victory for the girls was against Metro South where they won 4-nil, and they also played against Metro East but lost 1-nil.
In their first game against Metro Far North the Southern Girls dominated play for the whole game before a shot slipped in by the Far North’s and they lost 1-nil, but the second game played against the team was a draw.
In their first game against Metro Far South it was a 4-1 loss and the second game against Met West was a 3-nil loss.
Under 15 southern branch manager Jodi Johnson said on Facebook that two goals in the first game against Metro Far South were “questionable”.
“The girls played really well and gave it all they had considering their exhaustion and injury status!” she said on Facebook.
“Despite our losses the girls have won the Country Cup for the second year running woohoo!”
