The Magnet’s Sandy Huff said she was driving into Eden at around 9.45pm on Thursday, when she and daughter Kayla spotted the fireball to the west of the Princes Highway.
“I’d just come over the rise as you come back into Eden, passing Eden Bedding and Furniture,” Sandy said.
“We saw it out the window to the right; it looked like a comet because of its tail.
“We watched it for a few seconds before our view was blocked by trees, and by the time we pulled over and turned around to try and get a photo of it, it had disappeared.
“It was in the sky for probably a good minute, and it wasn’t hard to spot; you could tell it was something out of the ordinary.”
Did you manage to get a photo or video of the ‘space junk’ as it passed over Eden?
