TAFE Illawarra is throwing open the doors at its Bega campus to showcase the directions that training at TAFE can take you.
To coincide with the opening of enrolments for Semester 2, 2014, the Bega campus will be holding its Choices Day information session on Saturday, June 14, from 9am-1pm.
TAFE Illawarra’s relieving institute director Lucy Arundell says it is a great opportunity for prospective students to check out the local campus, meet staff with expertise in the courses on offer, find out how to excel in their chosen career, chat with career counsellors about options and pathways if you’re still unsure, and to get help with online enrolments.
“Whether you know where you want to take your life next, or if you’re unsure what your best move is, Choices Day is for you,” said TAFE Illawarra’s Relieving Institute Director Lucy Arundell.
“If you’re an employer who needs to upgrade the skills of your workforce to stay current or competitive, you can also access invaluable information on the day.
"We offer hundreds of nationally-accredited qualifications from certificate through to degree level; have strong links to Industry, state-of-the-art training facilities and expert teachers – so there are many reasons why prospective students choose to study with TAFE Illawarra.”
TAFE Illawarra enrols more than 32,000 students a year at 14 Illawarra campuses from Wollongong to Bega, across the Southern Highlands and down to Goulburn and Cooma.
Enrolments for Semester 2, 2014 open online on Saturday 14 June at www.illawarra.tafensw.edu.au.
