Biggest Morning Tea comes to Eden: PHOTOS

Eden has joined towns across the country in raising funds for the Cancer Council by holding Biggest Morning Tea events this week.

Twofold Bay Beach Resort kicked off this year’s local events, with around 50 people in attendance and combining to raise $676 on Wednesday.

Resort staff donated their time, cooking and selling raffle tickets on the day to raise funds.

Assistant manager Sue Orr thanked local businesses for their raffle prize donations, which included vouchers and produce donations from the Seahorse Inn, SPROUT Café, Eden IGA, Hair Lamartine and Wonboyn Oysters.

Bupa Eden held its fundraiser on Thursday morning, with residents joined by guests from Imlay House for a turnout of around 30 people.

Bupa Eden general manager Peta Bentley said the aged care facility raised $120 for the Cancer Council at its event.
