Twofold Bay Beach Resort kicked off this year’s local events, with around 50 people in attendance and combining to raise $676 on Wednesday.
Resort staff donated their time, cooking and selling raffle tickets on the day to raise funds.
Assistant manager Sue Orr thanked local businesses for their raffle prize donations, which included vouchers and produce donations from the Seahorse Inn, SPROUT Café, Eden IGA, Hair Lamartine and Wonboyn Oysters.
Bupa Eden held its fundraiser on Thursday morning, with residents joined by guests from Imlay House for a turnout of around 30 people.
Bupa Eden general manager Peta Bentley said the aged care facility raised $120 for the Cancer Council at its event.

Over 24,000 Biggest Morning Teas were scheduled around Australia to raise funds for the Cancer Council.
The charity is targeting 35,000 hosts for 2014, with the bulk of events held on Thursday, May 22.
