They have set up a collection point for people to donate money or drop off unwrapped presents.
“Nobody likes to be alone or feel left out. This is recognising that there are those who want to be included in the spirit of Christmas who might otherwise be alone or facing hardship of some kind,” Uniting Church Pastor Pam Skelton said.
All donations will go to the Community Christmas Lunches at Twyford Hall and Eden’s Uniting Church. Any surplus will go to local like-minded organisations.
Other collection points have also been put up around the Bega Valley Shire including Eden Gas and Gear, Pambula Community Bank, the Merimbula Visitor Information Centre, Club Sapphire and Sapphire Coast Physiotherapy.
