After hearing about the horrific accident than left Carly with severe third degree burns to her lower body, the staff at the Rusty Plough decided to call on the community for help.
They held a sausage sizzle fundraiser with musical entertainment and an auction with more than 70 items up for grabs all generously donated by local businesses and individuals.
Overall the day raised more than $6,000.
Carly’s parents were there on the day and when the auction was all over Carly’s mum Tanya Vogt gave a heart-felt speech showing her appreciation for all that was done.
