Around 50 young runners turned up eager to run in the sun and get their share of the colour sprays at several stations around the sports ground.
The run was followed by a sausage sizzle and games and was a great hit with not only those who took part but a number of residents from the Bupa aged care home, nearby, who came out to enjoy the spectacle too.
Bupa resident Erwin Niedermann enjoyed it all so much he insisted on his wheelchair being pushed through one of the colour stations just proving that when there’s fun to be had, age doesn’t matter.
