The club’s opening event of the season will see karts take to the course for practice from 9am on Saturday with race entries closing at 9am on Sunday morning.
This season will see the club’s new four-stroke Subaru go karts and others in regular races.
The club purchased two new Subaru four-stroke karts aimed at introducing a new cost effective way of racing and to let newcomers try out the sport before they make their own decision to become racers.
This class is rapidly gaining a good reputation within the karting arena.
Initially the club will run the Subaru class as a sprint event with the option of running endurance events later on.
For all those interested in go kart racing, the Frogs Hollow venue is a credit to the Bega Valley, providing some demanding and exciting race action.
Organisers said spectators and visitors are always welcome with the club boasting grand stands and a fully stocked canteen.
After successful race meetings last year, the club is anticipating a flurry of new memberships this year and said they will make a welcome addition to the racing ranks.
The club is also happy to welcome new volunteers – if you are interested in joining in or helping out you can contact Janelle on 0473 075 649 or email jlo95784@bigpond.net.au.
