It is anticipated these conditions will continue over the next few days and residents in the area will continue to be impacted by smoke.

9.21PM: Lighting strikes around the Victorian border on Saturday ignited a fire in Yambulla State Forest, about 17km south-west of Towamba.
Sixteen firefighters in eight tankers are working to contain the blaze which has grown to more than 600 hectares. They are supported by four bulldozers and two aircraft.
The fire is predominately on the southern side of Imlay Road, but at 8pm reports from the fire ground indicated the fire had crossed Imlay Road and was travelling in a northerly direction.
A door-knock is currently being conducted around Perico to ensure residents are aware of the situation.
Imlay Road will remain closed until further notice.
An Incident Management Team has been established at the Bega Fire Control Centre to coordinate the fire-fighting effort.
NSW RFS said crews will continue working on the fire over coming days as conditions were making effective containment of the bushfire challenging.
The NSW Rural Fire Service advises:
- Residents in the Pericoe area should remain vigilant and take appropriate action now.
- Residents in the Towamba Valley and southern areas of the Bega Valley are likely to experience significant smoke impact overnight and for coming days. Please monitor www.rfs.nsw.gov.au for updates and advice.
- Imlay Road is currently closed for its entire length.
9PM: The fire in the Yambulla State Forest has jumped Imlay Road, a spokesman for the NSW RFS said.
The bushfire is burning 17km south-west of Towamba and pushing smoke towards Eden.
Emergency services are door-knocking homes in Pericoe to alert residents.
The bushfire remains listed at advice level for the wider community.
It is believed the blaze was caused by a lightning strike on Saturday night.
7PM: A bushfire is burning out of control near Goldmine Road at Yambulla, covering 250 hectares.
The current warning level by the NSW Rural Fire Service is Advice Alert.
In the Eurobodalla, firefighters are working to extinguish an out-of-control bushfire at Belimbla Creek, in Belowra.
It is currently listed at advice level.
A third blaze burning on Nerrigundah Road, Nerrigundah, covering 21 hectares, has been brought under control.
A total fire ban was declared on Sunday across the South Coast due to hot and windy weather.
No total fire bans are in currently place on Monday as conditions ease.
The wind is due to change on Sunday evening and people are advised to keep informed about the fires through the RFS website.
