This time of the year can be delightful if one is looking at the native trees and shrubs or gardens and orchards.

At the moment I am surprised at the number of wattle trees, obvious even to my untrained eyes.
As I go about my daily routines in the car, the sight of the brilliant yellow flashes of various wattles are there for all to see.
There are other sights, and these are of white, pink and red blossoms on various fruit trees.
The appearance of these two varieties of flowers/blossoms has different significance.
The wattles give me the message of the bush being healthy and the blossoms will help nurture many different creatures in the next months.
The blossoms on fruit trees give me the message of the likelihood of harvests of some delicious fruit in the coming season.
God has created each of us to be capable of bringing brightness and fruit into the world.
The native trees and fruit trees rely on good seasons to be able to bring their delights into view.
People are quite different, as we all clearly realise.
As the pinnacle of God’s creation we have within us the capacity to bring fruit like; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control.
These fruits will appear more and more as we open ourselves to having God’s seasons the opportunity to work in and through us.
The message here is - God at work.
Are we giving God the best opportunity to bring brightness and wonderful spiritual fruit to our world through the power of His Spirit?
He’s waiting to let people see a sign, God at work, on each of us.
