1.30PM: The Transport Management Centre has advised that the Snowy Mountains Highway has reopened between Bemboka and Nimmitabel, after being closed earlier due to snow on the road.
There is still slush on the road and drivers are advised to be very cautious.
However, the Monaro Highway remains closed between Bombala and Cooma due to snow.
Motorists are advised to delay their travel through this area.

11.00AM: NSW Police Media have confirmed a car is stuck in a ditch on Brown Mountain, but there are no injuries and the occupants of the vehicle have been able to get out safely.
10.45AM: Regional roads between Cooma and Braidwood Road have been closed to heavy vehicles.
10.20AM: Sections of the Monaro and Snowy Mountains remain closed due to snow.
The Snowy Mountains Highway between Bemboka and Nimmitabel is closed in both directions, with the Monaro Highway also inaccessible between Bombala and Cooma.
There is no word yet from the Roads and Maritime Service about where drivers are being diverted.
Their advice at this stage is to avoid the areas completely and delay your journey.
Police are reportedly turning cars around at Brown Mountain, and one reader has reported that several motorists encountered problems on the mountain this morning.
"Tried to get to Canberra this morning, got as far as Nimmitabel and had to turn around," Robyn Edmunds told the Bega District News on Facebook.
"About a foot of snow on the road and not much visual ability, cars stuck on the side of the road, two into the guide rails and a couple sliding down the road; about ten cars altogether."
