The two-day show at Merimbula's Club Sapphire, hosted by Pambula Rotary was organised by Grant Dakos of Albury. It's the third of the four events hosted in Merimbula that Grant has organised.

With an eye to the local interest, Grant had constructed a Monaro streetscape, the row of townhouses near the intersection.

He had built it in 2019 but it was the first time it had been seen in Merimbula.

"I thought it would be a great little piece to build," he said.

Graham Draper who is a member of the Wollongong Lego Users Group built a replica of the Bell Tower of St Marks, Venice; he said it took him 49 hours to complete.

Elsewhere there were dragons, Yoda, the legendary Jedi Master, the Ghostbusters station wagon, space craft, beautifully illuminated houses and even a running model train.

Jill Goodchild of Pambula Rotary said there had been about 400 people through each day.

"The visitation was fabulous considering the conditions. We had about 20 displays but about five had to pull out," Jill said.

"There were interested and excited children and it was lovely to see," she added.
