On December 7, Brian McDonald had 41 to win and Howard Hill had 40 to place second.
There were 28 men that played and John Hillier won the golden shot on the eighth hole.
The ladies also scored well with Wendy Ferrell winning the day on 39 points.
The match played on the 14th of December also had great scores in the mens.
Club officials said that Santa arrived early for Sydney Donaldson, who carded a splendid 43 points to win the day.
"Syd was on target in all aspects of the game and a long putt on the 18 set him up for the victory," a spokesman said.
Frank Whitelaw hit the golden shot. Balls were awarded out to 34. In the women's the two Yvonnes were the winners.
Yvonne Perriman scored 34 to come out on top of the field, while Yvonne Van Der Merwe was just one point off the pace to secure the runner-up spot on 33. Ros Haenig hit the golden shot.
Saturday the conditions were inviting for golf and the field was once again back to normal.
Harry Weatherman had the best round of the day with 40 points to win B grade and Sam Johnson had 37 points to win A grade. Brian White hit the golden shot on the 18th.
Unfortunately the Eden Open was washed out on the Saturday and will be cancelled for 2021.
All of the organizing had been done and the course was ready to go but the rain came in on Friday causing the cancellation.
President John has been laid up with a broken leg and is ready for a long recovery so he can get back on course and give directions to the rest of the committee.
The club and members wish him a speedy recovery.
Over the holidays there will be competition golf on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Visitors are welcome to play on these mornings if they have a handicap.
Any other day the course is open for visitors to come and have a round of golf.
The golf pros are also available through the holiday period to give lessons or adjust your clubs.
