The Eurobodalla and Bega Valley shires have recorded no new COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8pm on Thursday night, announced the Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD).

It means the total number of active cases in the Eurobodalla shire is 24 and eight in the Bega Valley.
There were two new cases in the SNSWLHD, one in the Queanbeyan-Palerang region and one in the Goulburn- Mulwarre region.
This brings the total number of cases in the district to 393 since the start of the current outbreak in June.
The SNSWLHD released a new COVID-19 venue of concern in Eden.
Anyone who visited the following venue at the times listed is a casual contact and must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
Wednesday, October 6, 12.45pm to 1.45pm: Eden Post Office, 140 Imlay Street

SNSWLHD reiterated the importance of checking in to venues as the process of announcing venues of concern will soon change due to lockdowns ending.
Casual venues of concern will continue to be available through the Service NSW COVID Safe Check-in app.
