I have been here all my life, 64 years in October.
What do you like most about your job?
I love the freedom of what I do, I tuna spot as well as fishing salmon and lobsters. I just love being on the ocean, it is actually not a job for me, it's an awesome thing to be involved in. It's been handed down to me from my grandfather and father, it's a tradition. Watching the industry evolve has been amazing.
What do you like least about your job?
Filling out paperwork.
What's your favourite place in Eden and/or the Bega Valley?
The Merrica River on the southern side of Disaster Bay, it has a special feel to it, has been untouched for years. That place takes me back to when I was kid and my family used to farm oysters there and take them back to Wonboyn. It's a sentimental place for me.
If you won $1million what would you do first?
I would donate it to the Eden Killer Whale Museum.
What is one thing you cannot live without?
My family.
What are three words that describe Eden best?
Untouched beautiful coastline. I've travelled all around the world, but when I come back home I'm always blown away by how awesome it is.
What do you think Eden needs the most as a community?
Eden needs to stick together as a community. We are pretty lucky just being where we are.
