The event committee said that despite their best efforts to run the event to support the community both economically and mentally, the event had to be cancelled.
Motorfest President Jessica Porter said "After all that we have been through over the past two years, the event would be a welcome reprieve from the stress we have all experienced."
With many of the entertainment booked for the event unable to make the trip to Pambula for the event, the organisers decided that they would not be able to run a quality event that people in the region had come to expect and enjoy.
"It is with a heavy heart that they had to announce that the 2021 Total Tools Pambula Motorfest and the Bendigo Bank Meet & Greet Community Cruise will be postponed until 2022 in order to keep the Bega Valley Community safe," they said in a statement released to the media.
Although the news is disappointing for all those in the community who eagerly await the event, a date had already been scheduled for next year which will be held in September on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25.
"Whilst this is another blow for our community we really want to work with our sponsors to deliver value to them over the next year," said Ms Porter.
"With their support we hope to be able to support the local community by donating funds to some groups in need."
The Pambula Motorfest has donated over $130,000 to the community since they started running the event in July of 2012.
