Katungul CEO Kayeleen Brown said they were proud to work alongside local services and community leaders to support the ongoing needs and challenges within the local Indigenous community.

"Our Aboriginal communities face unique challenges and one-day clinics like these are a fantastic opportunity to reduce barriers and ensure we can provide vaccines to our community," Ms Brown said.

"It's particularly important as it opens up accessibility for those under 60 - a large portion of our community that remain vulnerable."

Vaccinations will take place at the South East Regional Hospital in Bega on Wednesday July 28, from 10.30am until 2.30pm.

"We saw an incredible response from community last month when the hospital ran their first day clinic for Aboriginal community members and I have no doubt we will see similar engagement next week," she said.

Ms Brown said they are proud of the efforts the community have made towards COVID restrictions.

"We're already so proud of the efforts the community have taken to keep each other safe during the pandemic and times of uncertainty and how well they have adapted to the restrictions and the new ways in which we have had to deliver our services.
