I've lived in Eden all my life, 18 years in September.
What do you like most about your job?
Being a part of a great community and being able to represent our school in the community. As well as helping to create a positive environment in the school for generations to come.
What do you like least about your job?
There's not a lot that I don't like about it. But if I had to choose one thing, it would be that it's coming to an end soon. I'll be finished school by the end of September, which means my tenure as school captain is almost over.
Favourite place in the Bega Valley?
The views from the Disaster Bay lookout in Ben Boyd National Park are incredible. However, in Eden itself, our beaches are second to none, and it's hard to choose just one.
If you won $1million what would you do first?
I'd buy myself a piece of Eden. Then I'd put the rest to my further education and try to give to some of the many worthy community projects currently underway.
One thing you cannot live without?
This question is a difficult one. I suppose, like most of Gen Z, I'd have to admit that I'd struggle without technology.
Three words that describe Eden best?
Beautiful, Thriving, Community.
What does Eden need most as a community?
Eden could really benefit from more employment opportunities for skilled workers in higher-paying industries to help prevent many younger people in our community from leaving the area for employment opportunities. The same can be said for tertiary education. We also need more community events and activities, and facilities for our younger population, particularly those who aren't into sports.
