The results see the Whalers firming up third place on the ladder in the reserve grade contest, while the win also sees the women's squad solidifying third place just behind the Bermagui Breakers.
After holding a 20-point lead by three quarter time, the Eden reserve grade outfit had to defend against a late charge by the Bombers that saw them finish just 14 points in arrears 9-8-62 to 7-6-48.
Lee James dominated in the front lines for Eden, bagging a six goal haul for the day.
It was a reverse in the women's clash with the Whales trailing by a point at half-time and then commanding the momentum in the back half of play to secure a 8-10-58 to 3-1-19 finish with Kamilla Grubesic and Ally Crowe each kicking three majors for the visitors.
The Whalers have a bye this weekend.
