The Eden Tigers women's roster has held on to the lead spot on the ladder after defending against the second placed Narooma Devils over the weekend.

A Tamika Millard double helped set up the advantage for the Tigers, who were able to forge a 20-10 victory on the Devils' home turf at Bill Smyth Memorial Oval in Narooma.

Kicker Kiarna Mitchell nabbed two conversions to aid in the points difference.

The Devils threatened at times with their good speed and stepping, but Eden's speed off the line proved as capable as ever to halt a number of attacking runs by the hosts.

Narooma's two tries came around the flanks with Sienna Anderson picking up one of the four pointers out of the centres, while her opposite Jade Scrymgeour kicked the conversion.

In unfortunate contrast, the woes for the first grade squad have continued after suffering a 42-0 loss to the Devils.

Narooma's speed proved a little too much to handle for the visiting tigers with second rower Jackson Kelly picking up a double for the hosts.

Ryan Norris converted five of the eight tries on the day aiding the Devils to a commanding lead over the injury-weakened Tigers.
